Y5 had a visit from Charlotte from the interactive museum at Silverstone. We learnt about the history of the track, and looked at and compared some historical photographs of drivers and cars. We also looked at some tyres, (one of which was used by Lewis Hamilton to drive to the grid in Abu Dhabi) race suits, and then look at Carbon Fibre and Kevlar components. We had a brilliant, scientific morning.
