Welcome to Nursery
Welcome to our blog page. Thank you for taking a look.
This is where we will be sharing information about the children’s interest / activities and any reminders.
The children are at the heart of all that we do and we are committed to ensuring that all of our children have the best possible start to their life in education. They have been absolutely AMAZING settling into Nursery and taking part in all the activities provided. We are super proud of all your children, and we look forward to enjoying a year of fun and learning with them all.
If you would like to find out what we are learning about this term, please take a look at our curriculum booklets .

For mid-day drop offs and pick-ups children will be collected from the green metal gate near the climbing frame shed. Funding:
15 hours free entitlement is equal to 5 sessions.
30 hours free childcare is equal to 10 sessions for eligible parents.
For parents with no code - Optional additional Nursery sessions are payable at a rate of £18 per session.
Once you have your 30 hour code, please make sure you pass this on to the teacher.
All sessions need to be agreed with your class teacher.
Lunch:
Government funded sessions do not include Nursery Lunch Club.
This needs to be paid for at a rate of £5 per day and an additional £2.61 if you require a hot dinner for your child.
Alternatively, you can just pay the £5 and provide a packed lunch.
Lunch sessions cannot be booked 'ad hoc' and they must be agreed in advance.
Payments:
All payments are to be made via the parent app.
Once any additional Nursery sessions and/or lunch sessions are booked and confirmed, they must be paid for even if your child is poorly, has an appointment, is on holiday, or is absent for any other reason.
Failure to make payments will mean that your child will not be able to attend the sessions required either for Nursery or lunch. If non-payment occurs regularly, this may result in your child’s place for these being withdrawn and their place will be re-allocated.
Fees are payable in advance and MUST be received by midnight the night before.
Drinks and snacks:
Milk, water and fruit are available for all children as a snack during the day.
Please provide your child with a drinks bottle filled with water only. This needs to be named.
Clothing for Nursery:
Please could all children’s clothing and belonging be clearly labelled with their full name.
A spare set of clothing and shoes in a bag would be useful, just in case of accidents or too much fun in the messy play. This can stay on their pegs and be sent home at the end of each term or when items have been used.
Please remember to send your child to Nursery in clothing suitable for the day’s weather.
If your child is still in nappies or pull-ups, please provide nappies/pull-ups, wipes and nappy bags.
