Popcorn Experiment!

Year 1 had a wonderful time today exploring their senses through a popcorn experiment. The children used their five senses to describe the appearance, texture, smell, sound and taste of the popcorn. They collected lots of adjectives and they all agreed that it tasted delicious!

National Poetry Day 2025

We had a fabulous time celebrating National Poetry Day in Year 1! We spent some time listening to some hilarious nonsense poems by Michael Rosen and created our very own crocodile shape poems, linked to our story in English- The Crocodile Bridge. We hope you enjoy them!
