We are lucky to have lots of other adults working with us during the week, including: Mrs Wilmer, Mrs Brown, Mrs Haji, Miss Bazeley, Mrs Mason, Mrs Wilson, Mrs Glenn and Miss Potter (1:1).
In the morning there is always a member of staff to greet the children on the door and if you have any queries then that member of staff will endeavour to address the concern so that they it be dealt with promptly. Year 1 had a wonderful time today exploring their senses through a popcorn experiment. The children used their five senses to describe the appearance, texture, smell, sound and taste of the popcorn. They collected lots of adjectives and they all agreed that it tasted delicious!
We had a fabulous time celebrating National Poetry Day in Year 1! We spent some time listening to some hilarious nonsense poems by Michael Rosen and created our very own crocodile shape poems, linked to our story in English- The Crocodile Bridge. We hope you enjoy them!
