Year 1 have enjoyed completing some fabulous experiments and challenges as part of Science week. We tried to find the quickest way to melt an ice-cube! We placed an ice-cube by the heater, in the sun, covered it with tissue and put one in warm water. Some of us were surprised to find the warm water worked more quickly to melt the ice-cube than the heater. We also enjoyed our 'making colour move' challenge- we used skittles and water on a plate and were amazed by the results. Take a look at our photos below!
