The 1-Minute Maths app from White Rose Maths helps children build greater number confidence and fluency. It’s all about targeted practice in engaging, one-minute chunks. The app is aimed at Key Stage 1 pupils although many KS2 pupils will benefit from the practice.
New multiplication and division topics have recently been added to the existing topics of addition, subtraction and subitising.
Subitising is the ability to instantly recall the number of objects or images without needing to count them individually. It is an important skill for young children to practise and develop.
