Year 5/6 Nsport Football

On Wednesday, we took part in the Yr 5/6 NSport Football competition. This Year the competition was held at the Goals Centre. In the group stages we played 3 games and won all 3 games, scoring 12 and only conceding only 2 goals. This put us into the Quarter Finals v Upton Meadows, we won 3-0, then in the semi final we played our best football winning 4-0 against Blackthorn. In the Final, we played a strong St. Luke's team who deservedly won 4-2. The team felt we could have done better and will have chance to prove themselves in the County Finals because two teams qualify, us and St. Luke's. Well done to all our players who showed excellent skills and great team play. Our team was children from Year 6, Jack, Gabriel, Xavier, Spencer, Theo and Joey from Yr 5.
