The children in Year 3 have begun their new History Topic this term. The children worked in groups to order key events of history in chronological order. They learnt the meaning of BCE (Before Common Era) and AD (Anno Domini – the year of the lord) dates written on the timeline. They were also introduced to the three periods of time of prehistoric Britain.
- The Stone Age (Palaeolithic period; Mesolithic period; Neolithic period)
