In Year 3, we spent our Thursday morning immersing ourselves in multiplication practise. Children completed multiplication worksheets to test their time tables thinking. They then put their skills to the test using the TTRockstars platform to battle their peers and teachers, as well as aiming to improve their personal scores.
Children also completed an English orienteering task around the school grounds, working in pairs and using their map reading skills to find the control points. The task was to find missing letters from words located around the school.
The Year 3 children had an exciting and fun-filled morning learning in creative ways around the school environment.
