Cooking - Seasonal Pastry!

In the Autumn term, all children in Year 3 took part in cooking lessons.

The children hand to identify, taste and prepare a range of fresh herbs and vegetables.

The children learnt how to safely peel, slice and chop using peelers and knives all of the fresh products available. Then children then selected the ingredients they would prefer to include in their pastry and then these were cooked in the oven and taken home to enjoy.

The children in Year 3 had a great experience trying new, tasty and delicious food and all children successfully made their own seasonal pastry.
