On Thursday 5th March, the Year 3 children took part in many festivities to celebrate World Book Day and their love of books and reading. They were excited to have the opportunity to share their favourite books with their friends and they enjoyed hearing stories read by their Teachers. As well as this, the children solved book clues and riddles throughout the day and took part in a special Masked Reader challenge. To show off their fabulous outfits that represented their favourite books the children participated in a special Year 3 World Book Day parade. It was great to see the children’s excitement for their love of reading a wide range of books throughout the day.
